I'm currently an Interim Producer on the Social Media team at Marketplace, a nonprofit news organization on a mission to raise the economic intelligence of the country, produced and distributed by American Public Media. I develop, produce, and edit visual media campaigns, while collaborating with hosts and producers of individual Marketplace programs to promote branded content and expand the reach of our original content on multiple platforms.

Previously, I interned with the Digital team at Live from Here with Chris Thile, a variety show also produced and distributed by APMG. There, I helped to create original content for our social media platforms, focusing on live music and entertainment photography and videography, while monitoring social analytics and reaching new audiences. I also worked on editing audio for broadcast, curating mood based and themed youtube playlists with content from our shows, and archiving previous shows and maintaining our website.

As a young professional, I'm eager to build on my academic foundations in the critical analysis of media and the study of feminism, gender, and sexuality. I make it my work to stay in tune with the latest digital and social media trends, while constantly picking up new production and editorial skills.

My intersectional approach to and passion for bringing underrepresented and marginalized stories to the forefront was a catalyst for my live radio and event production work in college, hosting and producing my own underground music and talk radio show every week, and putting together live music and arts festivals on campus that featured local fem, queer, and BBIPOC artists.

As a leader and the Program Director of KSPC, I became an expert at program scheduling, sound mixing, contract negotiation, and management. This led me to work with two of the most successful brands on national public radio, listened to by audiences in the millions every week: Live from Here with Chris Thile and Marketplace.
